  • I saw this video a couple of weeks ago and almost posted it here

I don't think she is too young to talk about it-
and I think she is right as well

  • Age is just a number. She's clearly an intelligent and mature teen. I also agree that she is absolutely right. There's clearly a great level of communication between her and her parents if she feels as comfortable talking (and is well-informed) about sex - Kudos to them!

  • Nah, she isn't too young. This is the age that they should be talking freely about it. They should already know what sex is at this point. She has been well educated and knows exactly what she is talking about.
    She made excellent points.

  • I don't think there's such a thing as being too young to discuss something.

  • Well she certainly knows more about sex at thirteen than I ever did. And there is nothing wrong with that, knowledge is power. As long as she utilizes this knowledge in a positive way. Plus I think we need to talk to our children about sex, because whethere we realize it or not soon enough they will be looking for answers and experiencing. so why not fill their heads with true knowledge and wisdom? they may not listen at first... but they'll get it eventually.
