Best fortune from a fortune cookie.

I got this fortune: "Your fondest wish will come true." The next day we got a call letting us know we were going to be parents. Ten days later we picked up our beautiful baby. That was 15 years ago and my daughter is truly the greatest gift I have ever received.
I am thankful her birth mother choose us.

I got the same fortune a week ago, "Your fondest wish will come true."

    I got this one a couple of days after I found out I was pregnant. It is the only fortune I have ever kept and the only one that ever came true.

  • I got one that said "some fortune cookies contain no fortune." It was right before my father's wake. I left it at the restaurant. It seemed like bad luck.

  • Ours are mostly just generalities, like "you are a good friend to others" or "you have a kind heart" or something personality wise and not really about something that might happen :P we don't get them very often though so they are fun for the kids and us to read :)

  • I actually have all or most of the fortunes I have gotten from fortune cookies in a huge glass jar. We usually have Chinese 2 times a month. I started collecting them in college.
