Ok so im suppose to be 31 weeks and im measuring at 35.
They are doing testing on the 11th so see why im measuring so big.
But if it stays the same and im still measuring big... do u think they would induce me when i near my DD because of how big i am??

Im not fat, im all belly....

  • Well I can tell you that I have the same problem.... I have high fluid and the baby is big for due date. I'm 37 weeks right now and measuring at 42. My OB says she does not induce until 39 weeks unless there is a emergency medical reason.

  • I have had a terrible experience with induction. Unless it is for your or the baby's safety, I would steer clear of it.

  • You're measuring 4 cm ahead-- has it been this way for long or just at the most recent prenatal appt?

  • just most recent apt.

  • Thats odd. Induction is much more painful than natural labor. I had to get induced starting at zero and had a 29 hour labor. It sucks, and if they put you on the pitoson (however its spelt) it makes your contractions much harder and more painful.

  • i have the same problem but im 37 weeks
i asked the doc if he was gonna change my due date
he told me that i was to close to the due date to change it
and that if i had her befor i was full term (this happend at 30 weeks)
and everything was devloped then it would be fine

  • I don't know about being too big but I was induced cause of measuring small, mine went fine, it was long but no problems.

  • i was induced and the only thing that was painful was the dr. breakin my water, but i got my epidural before they started me on the pitoson.I was already 3cm tho.see if your dr. will do you like that.It not as bad as some of these ladies say, but i'm sorry for everyones bad experience.
