How can I get my almost 1 year old to stop biting me?

So when my son who will be 1 in less then a month is doing something he's not supposed to I tell him no and walk him away from it. Just recently when I tell him no and start to walk him away he starts trying to bite my hand. Any ideas on how I can get him to stop? I never had an issue with biting with my oldest son.

  • You immediately get down to his level, get his full attention, and then very firmly tell him NO, biting hurts.

  • Gently flick his mouth, not where it hurts but where he knows what area he is doing something bad... tell him no and everything... say no you dont bite it hurts

  • i would recomend putting him in time out and explaining to him why he's there and tell him he has to sit there until he can learn not to bite

  • every time he bites, slightly pop his mouth, very easy, or put some jalapeno juice on his tongue when he does this
