Are you in support of a real economic stimulus package?

I would be in favor of a stimulus package that focused on job creation, helping small businesses to stay in business, and absolutely, positively no pork involved. This is totally out of control and our senators and congressmen should be ashamed to say they represent the people. If that were true they would be listening to the people and not be threatened with words by Obama. It would be better to do nothing at all then to pass this package they are all arguing about. This package will be another downfall.

We need a bit of spending, tax cuts, job creation all for the short term and long term...

Oh, and McCain is no expert on economics.

The same McCain who couldn't say a one thing what he wants to do about stimulus pkg when Fox News reporter asked him.

I may be out of my flipping mind but I fail to see how this stimulus package is going to help the 95% of people that need help. Maybe you could take the time to explain it to me.

Oh yea.....The economy is fundamentally sound......that was McCain talking....

The most eye-opening civics lesson I ever had was while teaching third


grade this year.

The presidential election was heating up and some of the children showed


an interest.

I decided we would have an election for a class president. We would choose


our nominees. We discussed what kinds of characteristics these students should
have. They would make a campaign speech and the class would vote.

To simplify the process, candidates were nominated by other class members.

We got many nominations and from those, Jamie and Olivia were picked to run


for the top spot.
