  • I think it is up to them. If you have alot of out of town guests, they might enjoy seeing you open gifts. Otherwise afterwards. I've seen couples do it at the rehearsal dinner, or at a family breakfast the morning after the wedding. It should be whatever makes the couple happy.

  • ditto what they said. Noone wants to sit at the reception for 2 hours watching you open your gifts. Way to kill a party.

  • Well, I had 30 people at my wedding...and none of them were leaving until they say me open the quilt they spent 6 months making! lol, personally , I would have prefered to get the heck to my honey moon...but that wasn't the way it went. So whatever works for you! It's your wedding.
