car seat/ booster

my 2 year old is over the weight limit on his car seat, but is not old enough for a booster seat....what should i do?

  • they have carseats such as the nautilus(graco) that have extended 5 weight for the 5 point harness

  • There are car seats with 65lbs limits. We like the Apex65. It has the harness and then later converts to a belt positioning booster.

  • I would get the Nautilus- 5 point harness until 65 lbs, converts to a high back booster and a no back booster to 100lbs!

  • Buy a booster with a higher harness weigh limit. My 5 year old is still harnessed so it should be pretty easy to find something for a 2 year old.

  • Look for a higher weight harness car seat. I have the Nautilus that was mentioned, and we love it.
