  • I'm cooking big tomorrow for fil birthday - there's going to be about 20 of us, so what is a couple more. I'm making a big batch of spaghetti sauce w/ meatballs, mostaccoli, salad, garlic knots, red velvet cake and his favorite German chocolate cake. We'll start off with some cocktail shrimp, blt dip & crackers and veggies/dip. We could use some wine - at least I know I'll need some.

  • LOL!

Well I should have enough for an extra guest. I am making hamburgs. Nothing very special but hopefully edible.

  • It's been raining outside for most of the day, and it's chilly in here, so I made beef stew with those little red skinned gold potatoes. They're great for soup and stew because they don't dissolve like russets, and they have great flavor. I can't wait til it's done!
