  • In affordable housing and with a daycare subsidy, 18,000 for my dd and I-we need very little except each other!

  • sorry, I'm a Canadian, so I guess figuring in the exchange rate and free healthcare I don't know what would be the norm for an American, but I also live very frugally

  • It's a catch-22 for me. To stay where we are now, our income can't change too much (low-income housing), but we're barely scraping by. I don't want to move out, I HATE moving. I would also like to be living a little more comfortably. So, to take into account buying a home and payments for that, as well as comfort without worrying about where dinner will come from....I dunno, I'm too bad at math. At least $60,000? Probably more.
