do doctors care more about money than paitens

when you go to a doctor so they act like hurry up so they can get out of there

  • It depends. Not always. My Dad was an OB and often took payment in the form of pottery or different things. Dad used to bill after the visit but nowadays they make you give payment when you walk in the door. I believe there are docs that care and others that run through as many people that they can a day, giving out scrips.

  • Well, they would like to get paid for the job they are doing. If a doctor is in a private practice, they need the money and sometimes insurance companies don't pay them. A lot of doctors see many patients and need to diagonose quickly. Always have a list out of questions you want to ask your doctor, it would make the time go in a productive manner.

  • the last few that i have been to dont care one was in the er and it was not that buisy but i was there for six hours when the doctor finally came she acted like i was not suppose to have any pain or that i was a grown up and should handle the pain she never gave me anything for the pain and i had to ask a nurse for something for it the next doctor just said i dont know what you did to your foot get over it i was mad and didnt want to pay my copay but did anyway
