babling or cooing

hello..i would like to know the difference between cooing and babling. i have twins and one sounds like little yelling and the other like ahhhhhh..are both sounds normal?they are just 6 months,thank you

  • cooing is more of just the vowel sounds A E I O U

    babbling involves consonants. like BABABA DADADA MAMAMAMA, etc

  • Cooing is like "aahh" "cooo" and little noises...

    Babbling is more like stringing sounds together " dadddada," "Mamamama," "babababa"

    At least that is what first came to my head...LOL..sounds about right.
