Do you hate packing?

I am doing some quick packing for a trip to Michigan from Georgia. We had a death in the family and are leaving first thing in the morning. I have to pack for myself, my husband and 3 kids. It is warmer here than there. Not sure what to pack! I HATE packing!!!

  • I hate packing also.Always have too much clothes or not enough?
    Please accept my condolences on your loss. I probably will be in your situation sometime soon.
    A drive to Kansas City to say our final goodbye to Grandma.

  • I hate un-packing... I live out of the suitcase until it's all un-packed on it own. Drives DH nuts! LOL

  • What I do is get empty laundry baskets 1 for each person. Then I'll think of what I need for each person, pj's, underwear, socks, pants, shirts, shorts, funeral outfit, and anything else and put it in their laundry basket. Then I take all the baskets and load them into suit cases. We pack all medicines in a carry-on type of bag with all the other toiletries with it. Don't forget ritual sleeping items for your kids, depending on age, like stuffed animal or a blankie. If you forget something you can always get it in Michigan. Sorry for your loss.

  • Pick clothes you can layer for warmth,.
    I do not mind packing for a pleaseure trip but anything else I also hat to pack. GL
