I have edema in both my lower legs. What should do?

  • sit down relax and put your feet up, make sure your not taking in to much salt and retaining "water"

  • there isnt anything i found to do just deal with it is all i know do you have carpet cause if not then that can cause it 2 dont wear high heels ummm rest you legs dont stress (lol i know thats hard) umm take not extremely hot baths but not just warm kinda in between of hot and warm baths and seriously rest your legs as much as you can good luck and i hope that helped

  • Go to the local drug store and in the home health section you will find TED hose. The hose will put pressure on your legs and relieve some of the swelling. Otherwise you should be off of your feet as much as you can. If you can't find the TED hose ask your OB they might have to write an RX for them. I am pretty sure you should be able to find them without an RX though.
