I need ideas for Decades Day at school tomorrow.

Yesterday was pj day and today was mismatch. I have no clue what Decades Day even means. I assume you dress like the 60s, 70s, etc.

Any ideas what she can wear?

  • Maybe you could roll up her jean bottoms & put a ribbon in her hair with a simple button down shirt and, do the 50's?

  • 3libras idea is cute, you could give her straight 60's hair with a head band around her forehead, blue jeans with some fringe on the bottom, a tie die t-shirt or other 60's type top, big 80's hair, and a big hair bow, fluffy skirts (a tutu would work) denim jacket, and finger gloves for 80's.....

  • When my son's school did that each lunch was given a different decade to dress as. (50's,60's,70's,80's) Was she given a specific decade to dress as?

  • Thanks for the ideas. I really disliked this crap when I was in school. I'm not a very creative person.

  • My kids did that for camp, not school. I don't think it belongs there.
