  • I introduced my 18 month old to her first potty and let her play with it. She sat on it reading a book and climbed on it until she got comfortable with it. About 20 months I taught her what it was really for told her if she ever wanted to go potty like mommy does, she has her own potty. By age two she attempted to use the potty but see I let her go bottomless for certain periods of the day in hopes she will choose to use the potty. She first chose to poo in it, later started peeing. She just turned three this month is fully potty trained by her own will and choice.
