would it be mean of me not to invite my mother to our sons baptizim? she has said and done some horrible things over the past couple weeks? should i do the rite thing?

  • You should invite her for sure. It could help with the situation, but not inviting her would certainly make the situation worse. Do the right thing and invite her.

  • I guess it depends on how she will behave at the baptism. If she is going to go and be rude and nasty, then you don't want to have your son's special day ruined because she has an ax to grind. If she will behave herself, let her go.

  • Why can't you be the bigger person and not stoop to her level? So "she has said and done some horrible things over the past couple weeks"...is it right to do something horrible back to her?
