Michael S. Steele, the newly elected chairman of the Republican National Committee

Story been out there for better than a week on Steele good old fashion mis-appropriation of campaign funds in giving his sister a cut of the pie. Lets see if Steele falls on his sword or good republicans ask for his head???

Could be pretty hypocritical if good republicans don't start questioning their new chairman. History does show GOP rallying around their crooks and those with morality problems

  • I think the republicans are just trying to keep it together and not really using their head and thinking through things. Democrats nominated an African-American... Repubs have to try and one up that by putting Palin on the ticket. We now have an African american president, so the RNC goes for its first AA chairman. I think the RNC is just grasping at straws anymore. They have been behind the curve for MANY years now and they are finally trying to play catch-up and doing a poor job of it. I am glad to see they are not all old, white men though. About time they added some diversity to their ranks.

  • It's a newsworthy story, but not complete. Considering the source is a felon looking for leniency we'll have to wait to see how it comes out in the wash. And what he did is not against the law, she only has to prove she provided any type of campaign type services at all. And it doesn't matter if those services were what her previous used to provide or not. As long as she can prove she did provide "something".
