  • Yes, she'll eat healthy at home so getting fast food sometimes isn't a problem to me.

  • Yep mine do. We dont eat out all the time but I see nothing wrong with a happy meal every so often and they do have alternatives to fries like sliced apples. I knew a family who lived across from us whose child never had pizza or fast food or was allowed ice cream from the ice cream man. She was made fun of relentlessly. I see no reason to do that to my child when you can be responsible even when eating fast food.

  • My 16 month old has home-made pizza and home made frys on the rare occasion - she loves them.

But would I feel her something that came from McDonalds or Burger King? Absolutely not.

  • Every so often, yes. And I'm talking once or twice a month. It's a big treat for them and usually what they ask for their birthday lunches! LOL

Everything in moderation. It's a matter of teaching good eating habits.

  • Yes, because when we go out it's rare and a treat. Too many people are using fast food for every day meals instead of the treat it is supposed to be. Growing up, we only ate out on our birthdays and when we were on vacation. Even on road trips we had to eat PB&J.

  • Every now and then we indulge. We are consistently very healthy eaters, so on occasion when we're out and about, we'll stop and get something. Seems like every time we do, we're reminded of why we don't do it very often; we just don't care for it much.
