  • I would be pretty upset if he didn't acknoledge the day or do something as simple as even get a card. He brought flowers home when I was sick a few days ago, so I don't need more flowers. ;o) I know he is planning something though..

  • Yes I would be pissed, We celebrate our anniversary on this day, how can a guy forget to buy something-there are always major reminders, commercials, radio, etc... If he forgets he might be sending a message, or you might not be on his mind.

  • My Dh is sweet and thoughtful year around and it isn't reserved for just one day a year. He also spoils me year round. If he doesn't get me something for Valentine's, it's no big deal. I know that he loves me and doesn't need to prove it just one day a year.
I, personally, feel that Valentine's is more of a marketing ploy and commercial holiday.

  • i would be a little pissed off, because if i put my heart and soul into doing somethin nice for him then i would kinda want that back in return. i know its just one day and we have all the rest of the time to be together and we say i love you but its like for some reason Valentines Day is like the day that makes the time with him fun and exciting. IDK hard to explain. it like our day together even when the kids come with us. i do nice things for him from time to time, but i really would like it back in return even if its just that one day. my hunny is sweet but even sweeter V-day and b-days.

  • No not at all. I like a little recognition on Valentine's Day, but it isn't high on my list of priorities. There are so many more important things going on in my life that if he forgets, then I'll give him an extra tender hug and love him just as much as always.

  • Not really. My hubby is sweet everyday of the year and brings me little things "just because." So I wouldn't have a problem if he didn't bring me something for V-day.
