  • Get a silver polish and a non abrasive cloth. A glass of wine and a comfy chair. Have fun...

Or you could use it as a punishment when the kids are bad!!

  • How wonderful, I use the silver polishing cloths they are less messy than the liquid kind, enjoy, it will all be worth it when you rejuvenate that silver....the problem is you got to keep doing it regularly or it will tarnish again....

  • What a wonderful gift. I've never had any real silver, but have seen the commercials for the Tarn-X. When you finally do get to sit down & spend some time cleaning it up, I bet your Great Gma will be nearby for inspection & proud of you for taking the time to make it look like new again! :)

  • There are good silver polishes out there. Toothpaste also works, but I wouldn't use it on that. I had one that you dip the silver into. It was great because it got in all the crevices. But it will keep getting tarnished if you leave it out.

  • BTW Tarn X is a liquid so if you have enough and you have a contain that it will fit in you can dip it in the tarn X and it pretty well comes off. You may have to dip and turn. I wash it of when I am done and use the polish.
