At what age did you introduce foods other then milk/breastmilk to your baby? where did you find recepies for healthy meals?

  • I wanted until almost 8 months, some people wont agree with me, but his weight was good and I produced enough milk to keep him satisfied, so it worked out for both of us!!!

  • Six months. He got whatever we were eating, mashed. No special cooking. But there is a superbaby foods website with lots of recipes if you want them.

  • I started my boy on jar baby foods at 3 weeks and 2 days old. No one has allergies in our family, so I knew it was pretty safe. He took it well, and he's at a healthy weight, and he does better than some toddlers I've seen with eating. In my opinon, it's alright to try new things with your baby, just take it slow, don't push him, if he's ready, then he's ready, if he's not, then wait a while and try again. Some babies are ready faster than others.

  • generally, 6 months is a good starting point.
    some babies could be ready by 5 months while others might not be ready until 7 or 8 months.
