1 Bump

I washed my bathrm. floor that had hairspray on it & then my bathmat stuck to the floor & now the rubber backing will not come off. I have tried cleaner with a scrub brush, goo gone & a scrapper, nothing touches it.

  • Have you tried a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser? When nothing else works, that usually does.

  • Hmm, maybe try a hair dryer on hot for a while. That should soften the rubber, and then you can retry scraping it up.

    Good luck.

  • Soak those areas with vinegar and scrape off

  • Did you let the goo gone soak for a while?
Otherwise, try oil, like vegetable oil, butter, or crisco or something.

  • I would try some Grease Lightening Spray or "Mean Green" - those cleaners work pretty good. You may need a scraper.
