Do you brush your dogs teeth?

I make my daughter do it.

  • I brush my dogs' teeth once/week after their weekly baths...need to do it more often though.

  • Nope. I gave him a bath today, cleaned and put medication in his ears... that's as far as I go. I usually take him to get groomed. He's too damn big.

  • No. I give mine bones to gnaw on and their teeth stay clean and their gums stay healthy in the manner that nature made them. I use very few chemicals or man made goop when caring for my animals, and I feed them natural foods that don't encourage bad teeth/bad health. Because they ARE healthy and their diets are appropriate, they have very little need of any sort of chemical care ~ even for parasites. My lab/dane mix is almost 14, and I have a 15-18 *guesstimate since no one really knows* older dog who have clean white teeth. The front teeth are very worn, but they are healthy teeth.

  • I also buy DENTA-BONES !! They work great - and chewing on raw-hides also cleans their teeth!
