medical pisses me off.. i just went to the ob for some bc and then i took it to the pharmacy he told me that medical doesnt cover bc but yet they cover abortions?? wtf?

  • It is a totally messed up system! It's almost like they are encouraging murder. Abortion is NOT birth control.

  • There is a federal law stating that insurance has to cover birth control. I would contact your insurance company.

  • that's nothing new. it was the case back in 1993 when I was on the pill. what's even worse is that viagra is covered...

  • Contact the insurance company. They have to cover it as far as I know.

  • I had insurance companies not covering the pill in both FL and PA... they may have to cover it if it is to correct a physical condition - for example PCOS patients often use the pill to correct their condition. I would ask doc for some samples to get you going.
