  • To be baptized in water is to "bury the old man (sin)"; the water represents the "washing away of our sins in the 'Living Waters', which is the forgiveness of ALL our sins by Christ Jesus.

To be baptized in the blood, is to "die to self, and live for Christ Jesus". It is a recognition of the price Christ paid at Calvary and recognition of Christ Jesus as Messiah and Savior. It's basically a personal Passover - the blood of the perfect Lamb, who is Jesus, covers us and God sees us as perfect through the saving grace of His Holy Son, Jesus. The death of sin has no power over us.
