  • For me, with my daughters we do lots of outdoor activities like hiking, camping, swimming etc, and we try to do an outdoor activity at least once a week. We also have game nights and movie nights together. Occasionally they'll let me go shopping with them but most of the time they prefer to go with each other or their friends.

  • My dd just got her drivers permit. I take her out driving. We did some shopping today. She is not a girly girl but a true tomboy. We'll go out to eat or the movies together or just sit and talk. She has learned she can tell me anything without consequences or fear. I respect that with her.

  • Shopping, exploration trips, hikes, swimming, libraries.... We didn't have a lot of money back then, so we watched a lot of movies on TV.

  • Awwww, see this is why I would love to have a daughter! :) I love my son but most of his activities are too much for me, wrestling, football, running or just trashing up our living room. DH loves doing all those activities with him, and so do I, but they exhaust me or bore me after a certain time. They bond over pillow fights, see I can't enjoy that! Lol
I love manicures, baking, makeup, decorating my home. I wish I had a daughter so I could do all those things with her :)
