what would you do?

okay so my best friends boyfriend backed into my car and caused a lot of damage to my car would you make him pay for it?

  • Yes! File a claim with your insurance company. They will assess the damages. Whatever is NOT covered by insurance, have your friends boyfriend pay--the deductible, labor costs for repairs, etc. If he refuses, take him to small claims court to recover the difference!

  • Yes, he should have insurance, if not it is a good lesson learned. He should not even expect you to cover it.

  • Agree with lorikeet.....hopefully this oesn't have to get ugly it shouldn't if he is a real friend and a responsible person.

    I am kind of shocked,not bashing,that this is even a question........of course he should pay for damage for he caused.
