Do you us bleach or Lysol to disinfect your house?

With all the strep and flu going around, I am going to start using bleach every morning and evening to hopefully keep us from getting it!

  • bleach is so terrilby toxic! I use white vinegar. It kills germs just as well as bleach and is kid/pet/food friendly and won't ruin your clothes from over spray or an accidental splash

  • I use thieves oil lol. Before this I used Lysol though. I got sick from breathing in too much bleach fumes one time and now I can't stand it.

  • I don't use bleach to clean anything but white laundry. I have asthma and it irritates it pretty badly. I use Lysol to disinfect. The fumes aren't as severe as bleach and doesn't bother me.

  • Both. I can't use vinegar- the smell gags me, and then I'd have a hell of a lot more to clean.
