So...... how long will it take?

Lets forget whether you agree with our government or not over blindly spending a trillion + dollars to get us back on track. Just give your opinion of how long you think this trillion dollars will take to noticeably help do just what they want done.

  • The number of experts against the bill is now at 300. 300 economists have taken it on their own to address Obama as how and why and referenced past history to prove it will never work. The actual cost to create a job is more than what the job pays. Does that make sense? Your government is spending on average $200k to create a job that pays $40K. Let's spend 200 to put 40 into the economical working system? Hello, does that sound like it is going to work? And for who? Who in 2009 can make $40K and put a considerable amount into the floating consumerism based economy we have?
The only way it will help,is if for some unknown reason the market goes way way up after the passage and leads to a psychological feel good that gets people who can afford to spend spending again.
I don't see the majority of working Americans seeing any portion of these dollars ever.

  • Not anytime soon. It has to go through so much red tape that I am going to guess maybe the end of 2010 to the middle of 2011.

  • As it is we will never see it help anyone just make things worse. Tax cuts will help but Democrats will not listen. When this fails they cannot blame anyone but themselves. I feel for all who will be hurt by this.
