Provera question

My daughter is not having periods.They were supposed to put her on chlomid.They gave her provera to get her periods started and help her ovulate.Has this helped anyone else?

  • I have taken Provera several times when I didn't get a period. Provera just makes you bleed, but I have never heard of anything using it in the hopes that it would help them ovulate. Clomid makes you ovulate, but you can't start it till your 3rd or 5th day of your period, so she would need Provera in order to get her period to start taking Clomid.
