How do you feel about Obama stumping his plans as President?

Do you think thats kinda dangerous for him to be out there stumping when there are the 46% of americans didn't vote for him? Not to mention how much it is costing the America that is in such dire straits (that we have to pass a trillion dollar so called stimulus or be forever in the trenches) to have all that security for him to make these photo shoots.

  • Actually, the popular vote for BHO stood at 52%, not 54%.

Regardless, BHO needs to be reminded that the election is over, that he won, and that no more campaigning is necessary. He needs to stop spending money on unnecessary travel, take his butt back to Washington and do his job. What is his job? you might ask. Good question. The first thing he needs to do is scrap this pork-filled spending plan and think (using the brain that he tells us he has) of a way to actually stimulate the economy, one that won't mire future generations with an unimaginable amount of debt.

  • I dont care if hes out there but I think hes almost campaigning to get support for this and that isnt going to work. People are against the package because its too big and too broad.

  • Out of sheer curiosity...hes out on the trail to get support from whom? The american people or the congressman in each state? Just because I was wondering.

  • Watching it live now, he's saying a lot of nothing, going a long way to walk around answering questions. Someone just asked him point blank what he's doing for people who are laid off and about to be foreclosed, and he's talking about tax cuts for working families (which does nothing for someone who has been laid off and doesn't have a check to have less taxes taken out of). Next he's going to loosen up credit more (because fannie and freddie didn't do enough apparently) and magically people will want to use that looser credit to buy RV's. He's actually contending that the RV industry did not collapse due to lack of demand but due to lack of available financing.

  • He seems to not have enough experience to know how things work in the white house. Why did people vote for him again?? Mccain was a lot more experienced and Sarah Palin at least knew how the business in the white house worked.

  • If people wouldn't have crossed political lines and voted in the primaries for two strong candidates then we would have possibly had a different outcome. I voted for Obama because McCain was worse. All I heard from Palin was hate and nothing for what she stood for. When asked if she knew what a VP did she either doesn't know or she was trying to be funny and couldn't pull it off.

Right now we need to stop whining and pull together as a country. Get ourselves retrained for the new industries coming and prepare for the ending of another. The high demand jobs are enegry (solar/wind), medical and computers. The mfg. era is ending

  • The mfg. era will never end. Every time you go buy a physical thing you can pick up with your hands, that has to be manufactured. The US HAS to become a manufacturing nation again instead of only a consuming one. The mfg. era will never end as long as people are on Earth.
