Oh my poor boy.. his heart is breaking :(

My 21 y/o son has been living w/ his 19 y/o fiance' @ her mom's house, which is 2 1/2 hrs. away. She just announced today that she is a lesbian & he is moving back home in 2 wks. He's staying 'til after her Bday! It hurts so bad that he's so far away & prolonging the agony too :( As moms, we hurt when our kids hurt. Plus we've all been thru heartache & know how bad it hurts. He said he hasn't cried this hard since his dad died, which was 2 1/2 yrs ago. :( This sucks!

  • Our hearts hurt for our children when their hearts are breaking. Hope he gets home to the people that love him very soon.

  • Oh that stinks, poor guy. Why is he waiting until after her birthday? IMO he should come home right away. I know how you feel as his mom, I have grown kids and when something happens to them I feel the pain with them. My oldest dd gets herself in so many bad situations and won't listen to me at all...but I always end up feeling all the consequences right along with her. I really don't like this because I have no control over what she does, I know I could avoid alot of those situations, therefore alot of the pain.

  • the hardest part about being a parent is seeing your children hurt. all you can do is be loving and supportive. I think it's good they will have extra time together to grieve the relationship together.
