My anniversary of 17 years is today. Just found out my husband has been helping a (friend) old high school girlfriend out. $40,000 dollars and 3 years later my 16 year old finds out. He has missed much with us because he has been with her come to find out. How do you get past this or do you?
He is starting counseling and I will also. Says they never had a sex, but spent plenty of time texting and seeing each other. Thought about it though. She did not know he was married.

How do you get past this or do you?
I really don't know. I think I probably couldn't get past that. This is a huge betrayal. Guys don't spend time with women they don't want to have sex with unless they are gay. To miss things with you and your child is inexcusable.
Does the other woman know about you now?
I am thinking with a lot of therapy and severing the marriage you can move past this. How did this all come to fruition? Did he just confess it to you or did you follow the clues and confront him?
