?? about teething

My daughter (Savaya) is 9 months old, she is teething and gets a runny nose with a cough I know the congestion is from her teething but lately she has been breathing hard as well with a kinda of girgle sound, like she needs to clear her throut. Does this sound normal from teething? Please help.

  • No it can be from the teething. I have seen patients of mine with these same symptoms with teething. I would call your doc and see what you can do for them, or just have her checked to make sure that nothing else is going on. If these are her normal symptoms with teething then I wouldn't be concerned.

  • neither one of mine had any of those symptoms. they may drool more be fussy and have a temp. but all your symptoms sound like a cold.

  • Thankyou! I will call her doc tomorrow I am pretty sure these are her normal symptoms from teething. I just not sure about the heavy breathing.
