I am 36 wks plus prego, have gone in to preterm labor 3x's so far. i was on procardia to stop contractions... Im now 75% efaced and wondering why I havent gone in to labor

I know that they say you don't go until baby's ready, but im not a very big person to begin with... and the special dr i go see says he's slightly below average and next weeks ill be induced... ive been walking, and trying alot of things they say to naturally induced labor instead of medically doing it... like i said i dont understand?

  • lol on fertilityfriend there was this one lady who battled preterm labor for 11 weeks and then at 37 weeks the baby decided she wanted to stay and she went overdue!

  • If it was true pre term labor, it couldn't be stopped.. only delayed for a couple of days.

Your size has nothing to do with your babies ability to give birth. Inducing could cause a whole slew of problems that you don't need. If your body isn't ready it's just not ready. At 36 weeks, you could really be 34 weeks. Is that a risk you are willing to take? Having a baby in NICU for a fear that may have no basis?
