Pregnant and Medical Insurance

So,I recently got approved for medical insurance at work effective on nov1st. Just found out yesterday Im pregnant and im concerned. Am I going to get in trouble at work? Does it looks suspicious that Im getting the insurance plus Im pregnant? You think the people at work or from the insurance think I did this on purposed? Could I get denied because of that?

  • Pregnancy is not typically regarded as a preexisting condition anymore. And no, I think it unlikely that you will get in trouble at work. Please talk to your HR representative if you are concerned
