  • Do not pop it. Wrap it up with some Aloe vera or some bacitracin. but don't pop it.

  • Don't pop it, it would let bacteria in and increase the chance of infection forming. I'd cover it with a band aid to keep the little one from catching it on something or digging at it. If she seems to want to pick at and remove the bandaid, try putting on several on different parts of her body and maybe she'll pick at those instead. Run cold water over a fresh burn or stick the burned place in a cup of ice water, this will cut down on the chance of blister.

  • Don't put it in cold water, it will damage the nerve tissue. Such a myth that it will prevent a blister. Try NOT letting her near the straightener, that will also prevent a blister.

  • Call your pediatrician. Burns are nothing to mess with or follow "old wives tales" to heal.

    Good luck!
