Where can I buy cheap cardstock paper for making cards?

I am going to be making Christmas cards this year and need a lot of thick, heavy paper to make them. I know that kind of paper can be expensive. Anyone know where they have good deals on that kind of stuff?

  • I would check out Jo-Ann's. Try to get a coupon-usually they do 40% off.

  • Try Craigslist. I just some an ad for a bunch of that here where I live... You never know. You might find some wherever you are :)

  • Try your local freecycle, and also some thrift stores may have them

  • Craft stores would have this item (AC Moore, Joann's, Michael's). As crafteechic said, look for a coupon so you can get more bang for your buck.
