Is it possible to have bacterial meningitis for 2 months?

I have been running a temp since getting a epidural blood patch and was wondering if it could be meningitis i gave birth in early dec and had the patch towards the end of dec
temp is anywhere from 99.3 to 100.7
but usually 99.6 ish
my neck has also been sore for the past week and a half but that comes and goes.
Does it sound like it could be meningitis?
I really want to figure out where this fever is coming from and get rid of it once and for all, but dread a spinal tap to test for meningitis if thats not what it is. :(
Any advice would be helpful, I just want 2 get better

  • I am pretty sure you would have died from it if it went untreated even as long as a week. I had it in college and it is VERY dangerous.
