baby food??

just starting on veggies... in the gerber plastic tub container thing, if he onky took a couple of bites, can i reclose the lid and reuse the rest later? in the fridge? how long is it gonna be good??

  • No, you should put some in a bowl and give it to him. Because of the saliva off the spoon it could grow bacteria. The opened container that hasn't been touched with the used spoon is good for 2-3 days in the fridge.

  • Kboney and Julipickle are both right. If your little one isn't going to eat the whole tub, the food that they will eat needs to be put in a bowl. This is so there isnt a transfer of bacteria into the portion that will be unused. When you only use part of it, you can replace the lid and put it in the fridge for later use. It says to use it within 2-3 days.
