After my daughter ate her birthday cake she pooped bright turquoise, no joke. Because of the bright turquoise frosting.
Most likely your toddler is fine, just something he ate, unless he is having other symptoms, diarrhea, fever, vomiting?

It all depends on what she ate. There's no reason to worry about it being yellow. The only colours you need to worry about is white (as in chalk white) because it can be the sign of a liver problem and black because it's blood that makes it black.

If she ate anything yesterday that had a lot of yellow coloring including a possible crayon or paint then that would explain it. I would start there and if I still had not figured it out then call the doc. If there are no other signs of sickness then it is likely something she ate.
