does this soud like he stripped my membranes?? i think he did.. idk why i didnt ask...

i got checked yesterday and he checked me and said "youre still not dilated your a little thinned out but not much" then he pulled his fingers out and said "okay take a deep breathe when i say, im going to use one finger now and you might be uncomfortable and have a little bit of pain" so i did and it was kinda painful but not really just uncomfy...

and ever since then ive been soooo cramped up and any movement i make hurts my whole body walking is painful too...

idk why i didnt ask him if thats what he did, i dont think i thought about it until afterwards.

we also sched an induction for next mon we are both hoping i go into labor on my own which makes me think maybe he stripped them so i dont have to be induced...

  • After my doctor stripped my membranes, I felt like maybe the bottom was going to drop out! And about 7 or 8 hours later, my water broke. Within 4 hours I had a new baby boy. I don't remember hurting all over; I remember feeling a sense of relief that day but don't know why.

  • Thats how I felt when I got my cervix checked. My doctor always said that to get me prepared.

  • Do doctors alwaysstrip your membranes when your this far along??? My doc hasn't and I'm a couple days further along than her. Weird. Never heard of that before.
