  • all babies are different my son was pulling up and walking along furniture 2 weeks after he learned to crawl a 4 months.. so thats early!! but he refuses to walk- he'll take up to 10 steps when he thinks we arent watching him but otherwise he crawls his little heart away. :)

  • He sounds fine.
    Here's a good milestone chart...
    http://www.babycenter.com/0_milestone-chart-7-to-12-months_1496587.bc
The first column has a list of things that most babies this age can do. The middle column has a list of things that about half of the babies this age can do. The last column has a list of things that a few babies this age are beginning to learn to do.
Use the chart to spot problems. If he hasn't mastered several things that most kids his age can do, that MAY be a problem. Talk it over with his doctor. If he has mastered several things that few kids his age can do, that may be a sign that his extra bright. But the way kids master things varies greatly. "Gifted" can't be determined until 1st or 2nd grade so don't use these type charts to "brag".
