Why does the heavy cream curdle when I add it to tea?

It's done it so far with Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger flavor, and Black Cherry berry. Any recommendations for yummy tea is appreciated too.

  • Stir it to blend it more or use a miniature whisk or fork to stir. The temperature of the water should also be hot enough to make it easy to blend.

  • What meooma said and those are highly acidic varieties of herbal tea. You may want to switch to a decaf black tea if you want to add milk.

  • I like to add the natural sweetener called "Stevia" to my tea - just a drop makes tea so sweet and so much tastier!
