What can I feed my one year old?

I need some suggestions of what to give my one year old. She has tried almost everything and hasn't had anyallergies. She is mostly eating grapes, she likes cucumbers, carrots, peas, etc. It isn't the problem of finding something she likes it is options. The only meat I can think to give her that isn't too messy is chicken fingers and we give her mini corn dogs. Any other suggestions. Oh and she eats Vienna sausage.

  • What ever you are eating, probably with some little adjustments. Get the book First Meals (The Expanded Edition) by Annabel Karmel.

  • Give her whatever you're eating.

Pork, chicken, beef, turkey, etc....pastas, rices, potatoes, etc...corn, green beans, peas, etc...breads, crackers, etc...cheese, dairy, etc...

  • She can eat pretty much whatever you eat just make sure it's cut up small enough or is soft enough for her. Variety is the spice of life so offer her plenty of healthy options.

Be careful with grapes, raisins, popcorn, and hot dogs though because they're a choking hazard.

  • If you are looking for more meat options there are many you can try. You could try meatloaf or meatballs (I make both with ground turkey) My son love my beef stew last time I made it. Lots of carrots, peas, & potatoes along with the meat. He also loved the chicken & cream of mushroom soup that his aunt was eating too.

Don't forget about grilled cheese sandwiches (my son also loves these)

  • My girls love popcorn shrimp & fish could cook a ham steak in a skillet and dice it for her...they love melons all kinds (don't know where they get it from though, yuck; LOL); grapes strawberries; apples; other berries; corn, green beans, broccoli...chicken fried rice (hamber helper box is decent)...
