  • Do you have apple sauce? I saw a recipe the other day that substituted Greek yogurt for it. Idk if either work though.

Can you borrow an egg from your neighbor?

  • you can mix it with any flavor of soda with no added ingredients. Vanilla cake is good with sprite, ginger ale or orange soda chocolate cake is good with cream soda or coke! It is so moist and delicious you don't even need to frost it!

  • I would wait - I don't think it will come out right without the egg as a binding agent.

  • I have done the soda in the cake mix before. I have done it as a cobbler with frozen fruit under the mix and as cupcakes. It really does work well with out the eggs. I don't know how... but it does. Plus makes it lower in fat and cholesterol!

  • the egg is just a binder, you can use applesauce or yogurt. I used to have to make vegan cakes and muffins etc and always used yogurt, couldnt even tell the difference , actually my family actually prefered it, thought they were really moist.
