A Storm/Verizon vent.

Ok.. I live on Long Island. There have been evacuations, the city's transportation is shut down and we are all in hunker down mode.. of course no school. My DH works for verizon. They have been looking for reasons to fire people and treating their employees like shit. My DH put in for vacation a while ago for our anniversary so he's home. His friends though are driving around in this storm doing installs, NOT repairs, but installs. This means they are climbing poles. I just can' believe they would put people in that kind of danger.

Well if anything happens lets hope the family sues the hell out of them. I'm not for sue happy people but when they are making their people put their lives on the line, I say go for it.

Why do an install when it's just gonna be washed away or blown away by the storm?! Not to mention the safety aspect of it. That's stupid. Make the CEO of Verizon leave his cushy office & go up on a pole in this crap!
