What are your all time most favorite girls names?

I am having a hard time finding a girls name. I don't know what we are having yet, I have about 7 to 9 weeks before we find out, but I am a planner and I like to pick names before the big ultrasound. I don't seem to like anything enough to name my child. I don't like names that are too popular. Any suggestions are welcome :)

Do you like any of these?
Ireland                                                                                                                                                                                                                              Paisley
Aiyana (native american and means forever flowering)
Nayeli (native american and means I love you)

  • I like Cecilia and Nayeli but I don't think I'd ever use either of them. I like Cecily more than Cecilia though. I also like Makayla and/or Makenna. There are more that I'm just not thinking of right now.

  • Cecilia & Imogene - not really. I think these old-fashioned names went out of favor for a reason.
Ireland, Hayden, Paisley & Addison - no. Way too trendy for me.
The last two I don't like for their overt "uniqueness". This child will spend the rest of her life spelling/pronouncing her name for people who get it wrong.

I am a big fan of "common" names. If I had a daughter, I would name her Rachel.
