$11.13/hour?

I just saw an ad on CL looking for a nanny. It looks like a normal legitimate ad, except the pay is 11.13/hour. Where did they come up with that number? What not just $11 or $12? Or heck, $11.50. Have you heard of such a thing?

  • I'm betting they took how much they can spend a week / how many hours to come up with that figure. Not sure how it works out mathematically, but there may be a 1/4 or 3/4s hour in there.

  • That is actually not bad for a nanny job, depending on where you live

I have always sen jobs with off wages like that

  • That is weird maybe they are figuring the max they can pay and also pay taxes on.

  • That is 2 cents over making $100 a day. Could be bad math or they are trying to beat the competition paying $11.11/hr.
