Book marks

When you stop reading, how do you mark your place in the book? Do you use a bookmark, dog-ear the page or memorize the page/chapter number?

Mostly I will use a piece of scrap paper as a bookmark, occasionally I will dog-ear the page.

  • If it's mine and paperback I'll dogear the corner. If it's not mine I use a book mark. If it's hardback of any kind I also use a book mark.

  • I have a fair selection of bookmarks. Some are cardboard, some are crocheted, some are crocheted and beaded, some are embroidered and my newest collection come from local art galleries who send a card representing one of the paintings when they open a new exhibition :)
